MossStack does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you enter stays in the app's private storage on your own device.
MossStack is an offline loan and mortgage payoff planner: you enter your loans, and it amortizes them, orders your payoffs and projects a debt-free date. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. There is no account, no sign-up, no email address and no analytics. The app makes no network requests, so it has no way to send what you type anywhere.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
MossStack asks for no runtime permissions: no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, notifications or storage. The Android manifest carries the standard INTERNET entry from the Flutter build template. It is never used, and because it is not a dangerous permission you are never prompted for it. On iOS the app declares no permission usage strings.
None. Amortization schedules, payoff ordering, the roll-over simulation, charts and projections are all computed on your phone, and no server is contacted at launch or at any other time. The only time anything leaves the app is when you tap Share on the Profile screen: your phone's own share sheet opens with a short text summary, you choose where it goes, and MossStack itself sends nothing.
No analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDK is built in. The app uses open-source Flutter packages for state management (flutter_riverpod), the local database (sqflite, path), charts (fl_chart), number and date formatting (intl), the system share sheet (share_plus) and animation (flutter_animate). None of them send data anywhere on the app's behalf.
MossStack is a personal-finance planning tool for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA and UK). It collects nothing from anyone, so it cannot collect personal information from a child either.
Everything MossStack holds is already on your device and in your hands. You can see every stored value in the app, edit any loan, payment, preference or profile field, delete a loan together with its payments, or undo a single logged payment. Uninstalling the app erases the database and all preferences for good. No copy exists anywhere else, so there is nothing to request from us. MossStack does not give financial advice: projections are estimates from the figures you enter, using standard monthly amortization, so check your loan agreement for fees and rate changes.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
